You will be given class time to complete a range of learning activities related to our theme. You may also complete these activities at home.
You must complete at least two individual learning tasks from each P and ".
Tasks are labelled as I (individual), P (pair), T (tribe) and W (workshop required)
The points that can be earned from each activity are listed. The smaller number gives the least points you will earn on satisfactorily completing the task. The larger number gives the most points you can earn from completing the task very well.
Students should complete enough of the tasks from this section so that they can achieve their points goal set in TLC.
When submitting work electronically, students must ensure that they also submit a submission sheet on paper.

Workshops
1.õUndertake an umpiring course. Attend a workshop on umpiring Handball. This will consist of learning and applying the rules, including correct use of the whistle and hand signals. Use the internet or other source to find the chords for the song, then create a poster showing how to play these chords either on keyboard or guitar. The poster should include: ·Keyboard or fretboard diagrams showing finger placement ·The notes for each chord used in the song written in treble clef ·The chord progression written out with the section: verse, chorus, introduction, interlude, ending etc marked clearly. 44.õ As a Sports Editor, evaluate the space allocated to reporting two different sports (eg football and netball) in newspapers. Consider the amount of reporting space that covers male/female sport. Consider the newspapers’ target customers, for example, the region in which the newspaper is published may influence the type of sports that are reported. (Think of the reporting of the Geelong Football Club in the Geelong Advertiser). The total space in square centimetres needs to be calculated and the proportions taken up by male/female sports. Comment on any imbalance you notice about the space taken up by the two sports. (21 X 29.5 cm) Look at each of these shapes: cylinder, cube, rectangular prism, triangular prism. What is the maximum volume you can make from the A4 size for each of these shapes? Submit your maximum volume shapes, your volume calculations and a paragraph outlining what you learnt about maximum volumes from this activity.
